QuuxPlayer Features: Volume Leveling and Replay Gain

You probably have many digital music files, and it's likely that they have been encoded by different methods, resulting in different average volumes. If you've ever been surprised when a new song comes on and you rush to the volume control, you know what we mean. The solution for this problem is a technology called Replay Gain, which adjusts the volume automatically based on the average sound level in each file. The averaging can be done on a song-by-song or album-by-album basis, and QuuxPlayer supports either method. Just select Replay Gain from the Options menu to get started.
